To streamline this process, One Stop Consult has developed a bespoke portal system designed to log design changes, store technical information and certifications, and archive real-time images. It also features live chat functionality, enabling seamless communication between stakeholders. The system allows drawings and designs to be accessed easily via mobile, tablet, or desktop from anywhere in the world. This tool is invaluable for distributing information or cross-referencing designs on-site in real time.

With our extensive experience working with various RBCAs, we have gained insight into the significant cost variations across providers. We assist our clients in managing these costs, ensuring they secure competitive rates without being overcharged.

The Building Control process requires the registration and submission of compliant designs along with necessary declarations. Acting as professional consultants, we liaise with RBCAs or LABCs to ensure that all processes are followed correctly, including plan assessments, structural checks, and consultations. Our bespoke pre-start assurance programme ensures all necessary approvals and consultations with relevant authorities are in place before construction begins, helping to avoid critical issues later on.

We also coordinate site inspections alongside contractors or homeowners to suit client requirements. Key stages of the construction phase must be overseen by Building Control inspectors to verify compliance with the Building Regulations. If issues arise, we are there to support remediation efforts, working collaboratively to ensure the successful delivery of a compliant development.
