One Stop Consult is thrilled to be appointed to provide the Building Control for this exciting project. The development will see the erection of 3No. Three Storey, Detached Blocks & 1No. Single Storey Detached Block to form 50No. 1/2/3 bedroomed modular apartments on a 29-acre former gas works site in Cardiff.
The project will also retain the iconic Ferry Road gas holder, a well-known landmark in Cardiff, as part of the development to preserve the heritage of the area. Lynda Thorne, cabinet member for housing and communities at the council, expressed her excitement for the project, stating “it’s very exciting that the structure will be incorporated into the development of the site, retaining a key part of Cardiff’s heritage.” We share the same excitement and look forward to providing our expertise in ensuring the project’s success.
