It will be mandatory for all new homes and offices to have EV charging points installed as standard, this has been a particularly bold move by the government as it prepares to ban all sale of all new diesel and petrol cars in 2030!

Approved Document Part S of Schedule 1 to the Building Regulations 2010 has been published since 15 December 2021 and takes effect on 15 June 2022 for use in England.
